Thursday, September 30 and Friday, October 1, 2010 8:30am to 6pm daily National 4-H Youth Conference Center 7100 Connecticut Avenue, NW Chevy Chase, MD 20815
Let’s share our stories of AI’s impact on corporations, government, nonprofits, schools, healthcare, communities and individuals. AND let’s imagine what’s next for this powerfully positive approach to change.
Join us in Washington, DC to hear high point stories of continuity, innovation and transformation generated by Appreciative Inquiry across the globe. Engage with us in dialogue around questions like: What will take AI to the next cutting edge? What is happening in the world that AI can serve?
You, an experienced AI consultant or a budding practitioner, can be part of this important dialogue, conversation, and the fun!
We will introduce an exciting format of the AI Storython (15 minute stories of AI success and innovation). Over two days you will hear stories, participate in dialogue and build relationships, while exploring what the world is now calling for us as AI practitioners and leaders in the field of strength-based change and for “change at the scale of the whole”. David Cooperrider will be a keynote storyteller and Diana Arsenian will be graphically illustrating the stories as they are told. We will also celebrate the purpose and principles that have sustained AIC for the past 10 years.
Following this landmark event we will publish an e-book of your live, videotaped stories of AI innovations from diverse sectors and perspectives. If you want to tell your story at this not to be missed AI gathering, either on stage or off, please send your proposal (following these guidelines) to rebecca@aiconsulting.org by July 16, 2010.
Come to Washington and gather in community for this exciting and connecting event!
The cost of attending this event for current AI Consulting members is $100 and $175 for non-members. For an additional $25 you can become a member of AIC for the remainder of 2010.
