CEO at Van Harte & Lingsma. Owner of JLS International (a small company focusing on Appreciative Inquiry), Chair of the Global Council of AI consultancy, and an associate of both the NTL as well as the TAOS Institute. He has been an active member of the AI community since the mid nineties.
He received his first AI training from Jane Watkins and Barbara Sloan and has a GEM certificate from Case Western Reserve University. His current interest is especially around Appreciative Leadership and its effects on our organisations and on the world we live in. He is frequently asked to speak about AI at conferences around the world and when it is on AI often does that in partnership with his friend Dan Saint. Proud father of Maaike, Dirk and Anne, and lives together with his partner Hanne on their houseboat in Spaarndam.
