In memory of Ruth Bonner - 1917-2011
Since the second network meeting in Stockholm, October 2006, Ruth Bonner has participated in every meeting together with her daughter Yvonne Bonner. 

It was not immediately we realized that we were honored with a true legend of international education.  Ruth Bonner was one of four teachers in Geneva who 1964 laid the foundation to the International Baccalaurate Programme that for the first time provided a standardized curriculum across IB schools that has spread all over the the world.

Now that she will no longer travel together with Yvonne she will be missed by all of us who came to love her, to appreciate her humour and energy.

The network meetings will never be the same again without her.
